HANGING THE SPEAKERS
Artcoustic speakers hang like picture frames. Two steel plates on back of the speaker hook over flanged steel plates that attach to the wall. If the speaker is positioned higher than a natural listening position, for best performance it should be tilted downward (3 - 5 degrees) by means of a wood standoff as show below.

STRONGLY RECOMMENDED! AFFIX SPEAKERS TO WALL FOR ADDITIONAL SECURITY

Especially in regions where earthquakes occur, we recommend affixing the speakers to a stud in the wall with a simple L-bracket. This will also provide protection should a speaker be accidentally bumped up and off of the flanges.
